Berkeley Lab held its inaugural Veterans’ Appreciation Luncheon on Monday, November 10th. Approximately 30 veterans were in attendance from various branches of the military. Presentation of the colors were performed by the UC Berkeley Army ROTC Color Guard. Chief Operating Officer Glenn Kubiak thanked our veterans for their service to our country, and for their continued service to the Lab. To foster an inclusive environment for our employees, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Christel Cantlin, invited our attendees to join Berkeley Lab’s new Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (VERG).
