Jason Bush served 13 years in the USAF as a computer technician with tours in Bosnia, Kuwait, and Iraq before graduating from Walla Walla University and Andrews University. Jason came to Berkeley Lab through a veteran internship and training program with NPower in 2016 and is now a career member of the workstation support team. Jason is passionate about contributing to the veteran outreach and retention goals of Berkeley Lab and is serving as a co-chair in the Veterans Employee Resource Group. Jason is also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Carl received the BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. After gaining industry experience at ClariPhy Communications and Analog Devices, Carl joined the Engineering Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2010. Carl currently leads the Integrated Circuits Group, where his research is focused on the design and testing of custom microelectronics in extreme environments.
Jacqueline Scoggins is a System Engineer in the Science IT Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab since 1996. She has worked for the IT Division as well as for the NERSC Division throughout her career. Her career path has been as a System Engineer and a Team Lead supporting the Scientists at the Lab and Nationally. Jackie is a founding member of the African American Employee Resource Group (AAERG), a member of the Women Scientists & Engineering Council and Diversity Advisor Board member where she served as the Task Force Lead for Strategic Communication Group. Jackie has served as the President of the Karaoke Club for over 4 years. Jackie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computing Science with a Minor in Math from California State University, Hayward. She has been married for over 25 years and have three children. She enjoys teaching praise dance, singing karaoke, planning events and working with children, youth and young adults as a spiritual guidance leader.
