SVA’s National Conference, or NatCon, is the largest annual gathering of student veterans in the country. NatCon 2020 will be held on January 3-5, 2020 in Los Angeles.
The key to our success with NatCon has always been the outstanding, educational, and thought provoking breakout sessions we offer attendees.
Presenting at NatCon gives you the opportunity to contribute to the educational and professional development of tomorrow’s leaders, raise awareness for your programs or research, and directly support many of our over 1,500 SVA Chapters—all while developing your own presentation skills and expanding your network.
The NatCon 2020 Proposal Committee invites your proposal for an interactive and engaging one-hour breakout session. We are specifically encouraging proposals that focus on the support systems that lead to greater academic success and leadership skills for student veterans. This is your opportunity to shape the conversations and program at NatCon.
We’ve included three new presentation tracks for 2020:
- SVA Alumni
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Veteran Well-Being
All proposals are due no later than June 7, 2019 at 11:59pm ET.
We’re also looking for volunteers to participate in the review and selection process from June 10-21, 2019.
