The Women Scientists and Engineers Council held its annual Networking Forum on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Over 60 Lab employees and senior managers gathered to participate in a gingerbread construction project as their 30-minute networking activity. The categories were: most original, difficulty of design, and most representative of the Lab. The winning designs were (respectively): rows of solar panels and a windmill; an ALS structure; and the surrounding view from the Lab (with the Golden Gate bridge, turkeys, deer, and a “no parking” gingerbread sign), as seen below. The event also had raffle prizes and a catered lunch. You can view the photos here.
