International Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) is celebrated annually on March 31st. This event is dedicated to celebrating transgender people all over the world, raising awareness of discrimination faced by the transgender community, and celebrating their contributions to society.
As a way to recognize TDOV at Berkeley Lab while we shelter in place, the Lambda Alliance Employee Resource Group is asking Lab colleagues to print out the image below, or upload it as your Zoom background for the day. We hope to continue spreading awareness around TDOV, and get others interested in learning more about it.
