Lab Takes Part in National Lab Day Student Outreach

Mentors Sought for Lab Internship Programs
Workforce Development & Education (WD&E) seeks mentors in scientific, engineering, and technical fields to work with undergraduates, teachers, and faculty collaborators. WD&E internship programs have fall and spring terms with a 16-week commitment, while the summer term has a 10-week commitment. More information on the Berkeley Lab Mentorship Program.
Lab Participates in DOE STEM CON Event in Chicago
The Lab’s K-12 program participated in STEM CON, an outreach event to showcase AI research at national labs. Visitors stopped by interactive booths to learn about virtual reality, computer programming, and data visualization. The event was part of the InnovationXLab AI Summit in Chicago this week. Physicists Sought for LHS Exhibit
The Lawrence Hall of Science is looking for physicists interested in inspiring young people and helping them think about careers in STEM. Scientists will have their pictures and biographies included in a traveling exhibit focused on teaching fundamental physics principles to students grades K-8. Click here to volunteer.
