The Lambda Alliance, Berkeley Lab’s LGBTQ association, will be hosting its second annual LGBTQ Pride Networking Event on Friday, June 9, 2017. The event will be held offsite at Townie (1799 University Avenue, Berkeley) starting at 5:30 p.m. All Berkeley Lab employees, friends, and family members are invited, including allies. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including a cocktail special called the “Lambda Lime Buck.”
The Lambda Alliance will be hosting this event in partnership with its Employee Resource Group (ERG) and National Lab Pride (NLP). NLP members consist of LGBTQ+ scientists, engineers, technicians, and operations professionals within the U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory complex. Guests will have an opportunity to learn more about Lambda Alliance’s upcoming events and activities, as well as an informal “meet-and-greet” with members of the Lab community.
For more information, please contact Lady Idos (lvidos@lbl.gov) or Tom Gallant (tggallant@lbl.gov). You can also visit the Lambda Alliance website. To learn more about Berkeley Lab’s ERGs, click here.
