The Asian and Pacific Islander community at the Lab has been active through the decades. Take a look back at some of its activities and the formation of the API ERG in the midst of the COVID pandemic.

Inder Monga, Executive Director of ESnet and Division Director of Scientific Networking, is the executive sponsor of the Lab’s new Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group (API ERG). A longtime supporter of IDEA principles, he shares some of his thoughts on the ERG’s role at the Lab.
Imagine the Future: Asian Pacific Islander ERG
The Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group started during the pandemic, in part a response to hate crimes targeting Asian community members. API ERG co-chairs Carol Chien and Madelyn Bello share their thoughts on what the group can accomplish and the steps needed to reach those goals.
