The Berkeley Lab Women Scientists and Engineers Council sponsored its annual networking event in February. The guest speaker was Mary Gaillard, Senior Scientist at LBNL and Professor of Physics at UCB from 1982 to 2009. She has also authored a book, A Singularly Unfeminine Profession, which describes her career in physics when she was often the only woman in the lab.
