Speaker: Dr. Michelle Peticolas

Accompanying someone through the final phase of life can be a powerful and healing experience. It can also be demanding and exhausting depending on caregiving demands and family relationships. One may experience a range of emotions including regret and resentment towards others.
Life Transitions Coach and Sufi, Dr. Michelle Peticolas, will share her knowledge to help navigate the delicate terrain of caring without losing oneself to expectations you and others may have, “solo caregiving” vs collaborative care, and how to stay centered during this time of uncertainty.

Be Well at Work’s Elder Care program offers confidential, free assistance to UC Berkeley Faculty and Staff who are caring for or concerned about an elder or dependent adult. It also provides services to postdocs, visiting scholars, and employees of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Please call 510 643 7754 to schedule an appointment.
