Flag Lowering and Virtual Pride Shoebox Float Parade – Tuesday, June 30, 2020
3:00 PM via Zoom
https://lbnl.zoom.us/j/99551269097?pwd=M1F2SW1CNUFRMXprc0JqSDhTc290dz09
Pride is never canceled; nor is the Pride Parade! Come join the celebration with Berkeley Lab contingents of Shoebox floats.  What is a Shoebox parade?  While the origins are unclear, shoebox parades appear to come from elementary school projects. With COVID-19 restrictions, however, virtual Pride parade variations with shoebox floats are emerging at universities like UCLA, and among industry, diversity approaches. Display your DIY float or zoom in to wave and cheer on the contingents. Open to contingents from other Bay Area Labs.
