THRIVE: Summer Wellness Program for UC Berkeley Staff & Faculty is built on the principle that self-care and healing from current, past, direct or indirect stress or trauma is:
- a personal journey
- different for all
- a non-linear process
The program will consist of 6 virtual workshops over the course of [June 22nd – August 17th] on Mondays from 12pm-1pm PST.
These workshops will be led by community healers and will cover various wellness practices from art therapy to sound healing to restorative yoga. Through community building and sharing of collective and ancestral knowledge on healing practices, program participants will get the chance to learn and engage in deep healing practice in a safe, confidential, and intentional space with healers of diverse and various backgrounds and practices. Each session is intended to build on one another and holds space for both individual reflection and small group sharing during pre-practice and post-practice.
