Virtual Tours of the Lab Now Available

Come learn about Berkeley Lab!

As of July 2020 the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) Public Tour is going virtual!

In response to COVID-related social conditions, Berkeley Lab is offering virtual tours of its facilities to the public. These are pre-scheduled, live, interactive, one-hour long sessions presented by Lab staff and scientists. Participants will learn about the Lab’s fascinating history, ground-breaking discoveries, and contributions to COVID-19-related research.

Join a Zoom Webinar to learn about Berkeley Lab’s history and take a peek at the Molecular Foundry, the Advanced Light Source,¬†National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center¬†(NERSC), and ESnet.


One day prior to the Virtual Public Tour a Zoom Webinar link will be sent to all registered participants.

Age: The Public Tour is designed for those 16 years and older, though those younger than 16 are welcome to join.
