Visible Spectrum: Diana Swantek, Technical Illustrator

Visible Spectrum is a new series to spotlight talented and dedicated women employees across the Lab. In this inaugural feature, learn how Diana Swantek brings cutting-edge science to life in a visually engaging way in her role as a technical illustrator for Earth and Environmental Sciences.

Diana Swantek has been with Berkeley Lab for over 20 years as a technical illustrator for Earth & Environmental Sciences, creating beautiful graphics and illustrations for projects, publications, proposals, and more.

Diana is also an avid cyclist. She rides as much as possible in her free time, and particularly enjoys riding her bike up Centennial to the Strawberry Gate (which is closed for now). She also lifts weights, hikes, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
