Call for Career Talk Panelists

STEM acronym with iconsThe Lab’s K-12 STEM Education team is looking for speakers to volunteer for a new virtual career talk series. Talks will be scheduled bi-monthly on Fridays starting late fall. Upcoming topics are currently listed on the signup form, but new themes for early next year are welcome.

Throughout the year, there are many requests for speakers at local schools. The K-12 Programs team is looking to put together a group of researchers and staff who would be able to share their expertise and career experiences through online platforms.

At this time, we are planning a series of virtual career talks for the upcoming year. Each event will cover an overarching topic students have expressed interest in. These topics include: Art and STEM, Privacy and Security, Everyday Materials, Travel and Fieldwork, and Ethical Research. More themes will be introduced as this series progresses.
