You are cordially invited to the UC Council of Chief Diversity Officer’s Distinguished Scholars Webinar. The speaker series features UC scholars who have made significant contributions to the study of racial inequality in their research, teaching, mentorship and publicly engaged scholarship.

Please join us on April 28th, 1-2:00 PM, when Amani M. Allen, Ph.D. M.P.H., will be presenting her research on the mental and physical health of African Americans in relationship to gender, socioeconomic position and the stress created by racism.  Amani M. Allen, Ph.D., M.P.H., is professor of community health sciences and epidemiology at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health. Her research focuses on race and socioeconomic health disparities and the measurement and study of racism as a social determinant of health.
