Mental Health Awareness Month: Balance Body & Mind – Join UCB’s WorkFit Classes!

WorkFIT, sponsored by UC Berkeley’s Department of Recreational Sports, is staffed by a team of certified personal trainers who deliver strength training, flexibility and general fitness classes throughout the week. During the Shelter-in-Place the classes have not only moved online, but are now free and open to public.

What’s New? Monday Night Dance Jam is Here

 Dance Jam will be on Mondays from 6:00-6:45 PM. Dance Jam gives us the opportunity to embrace our inner performer and move and groove our way to fitness. This high-energy, upbeat class combines the joy of dancing with a great cardio workout.  The teacher will break down choreographed routines from hip hop, pop, Broadway, Zumba and more, all while keeping your heart pumping and body moving. Whether you are a dance star or “have two left feet,” you will finish in a full sweat and with a big smile. Now more than ever, we all need to dance!

Best Way to Navigate WorkFit Zoom:
After you register for class, Zoom send will send you a Confirmation Email with a personal link that will take you directly to that specific class (at the very bottom is says “Click Here to Join”).  Save this link as It is the quickest way to enter class because you don’t have to log in. If you use an online calendar, click the option in the email to “save to your Google/Yahoo calendar” and then you go straight to your calendar every time and click the link.  Of course, you can always go to our WorkFit Zoom Class Schedule, click on your class, log-in (takes less than a minute) and then enter class.
