Supervisor Brown Bag: Responding to Current Events – June 10, 2020

To echo the June 10th community message from Mike Witherell, and to learn more about the goals of #ShutDownSTEM and related actions, join us for a 1-hour discussion and tour of the ‘Guidance for People Leaders’ Resource.

The Brown Bag session will provide guidance on how to respond to current events and how supervisors can actively support their employees. It will center on 7 key ways that people leaders can concretely support their African American colleagues and team members now and in the future. This resource also provides guidance on how leaders can begin and deepen practices of anti-racism in the Lab community and beyond.

Aditi Chakravarty, a lifelong student of DEI and anti-racism and Sr. Consultant of the HR Learning & Organizational Development team, will facilitate the session.

Date: June 10, 2020

Time: 12 noon – 1 pm
